Yoga Business Coach & Growth Strategist

My Intention

I help yoga studio owners grow a thriving, lucrative business.  I am passionate about impacting this world as a whole by each of us living powerful, authentic lives.  Yoga is the means to do that.  By helping you grow and prosper, more students are served and more worthwhile, meaningful lives created.

Yoga Teacher

I have been a yoga teacher for over 4 years, teaching over 500+ students a month.  I understand what it is to serve and deliver a great class on a consistent basis.  I have been involved in teacher trainings, workshops and classes.

Yoga is extremely important to me personally.  It has allowed me to have self-acceptance and given me the courage and confidence to make positive transitions in my life.  From being diagnosed as “chronically depressed” five years ago to living an incredible, purposeful life today, the change has been dramatic.  Because of the powerful way it has impacted my life, I root my coaching & consulting practice in the philosophy of my yoga practice.

A Bright Career

I grew up in Europe, primarily in the UK, which gives me a unique global perspective.  I’ve also lived coast-to-coast in the US along the sun belt because I need to see sunshine daily.  My formal education is from a small private liberal arts school.  Later I completed my MBA—while raising two children.  My coaching practice is based on a mix of proven theory and real world, hands-on experience.

In my capacity as a regional special project manager, I traveled biweekly to different businesses to consult directly with the management teams and quickly improve their revenues and profits.  I have the ability to assess a situation–fast, including the opportunities that will give you the most return on your investment, and can advise you on your talent strategy as well—leadership development is something I excel at.

As an executive with a Fortune 50 forward thinking company I have had many rare mentorship and coaching experiences.  One program in particular was a yearlong commitment and allowed me to hone my coaching skills at the highest levels.  In that environment, my coaching had to deliver significant financial rewards back to the company and shareholders.  I also had the opportunity to lead numerous seminars on strategic thinking for individuals with high talent, several of whom went on to be promoted to higher leadership positions.

Passion and Higher Purpose

The year I left my corporate career was the most successful for me from a financial perspective.  However, I felt unfulfilled.  My work did not hold a deeper meaning and I had no passion for it.  I knew there was a higher purpose for me and so I left.  I now serve others who truly help create and spread happiness.  By serving you, the world benefits exponentially.

A Client Centered Coach and Consultant

I have coached other yoga studio owners—from start up to being the largest and most successful in their area.  I have brought hope to owners who had none.

There is a difference between being a coach and being a consultant.  Both start with the goals and challenges clients are focused on.

As a yoga business coach, my job is to listen, observe, question and give you a different perspective on your situation.  I help you clarify your thinking through asking the right questions and sharing patterns and actions you are currently engaged in.  However, just as in your yoga practice, the knowledge and power for transformation comes from within you.  I am there to expedite a process that can take years on your own because most people don’t have that amount of time when it comes down to the success of their business.

As a yoga business consultant, my expertise is in the yoga industry.   I have the knowledge of what works…and what doesn’t.  My role is as a resource for you.  I can help you think through specific strategies to make your yoga studio successful and suggest other avenues for you to explore.  Again, I believe you are the expert in your business.  It’s nice to know the person who is helping you understands your business.

According to the “Yoga in America” demographic study, last completed by the Yoga Journal in 2008, 72% of your clients are women.  I have studied the psychology of women as well as how to market to women–and there is a very real difference.  It makes sense to hire a woman who specializes in marketing to women to help you connect with your female clientele.

Are you ready for some help in achieving results?  Let’s talk.
